i 'm not sure where i read about it, could have been west systems documentation, but i have been cutting up six inch foam roller covers into three pieces lengthwise and glueing a handle to each. i use these to tip off after rolling and it works great. i have not tried it with varnish, i'm a brusher. sorry spidey, :)
