I tried Epiphanes gloss, wet sanded between coats with 400 & 600 wet paper.
Had lots of trouble with runs (Small but noticeable to the builder)
I tried thinning, cold temps, warm temps and nothing helped.
I've done 5 coats on the top, 4 on the bottom and decided to give up and go kayaking. I decided when the quart was used up I was done, No if's and or buts. It's just going to get scratched anyway. I might consider paying $100-150 to a autobody shop to spray it on next time.
