I have several of these split bolts on my desk, they are used for splicing electrical cables together. Made from copper and stamped with the manufacturer's name - Burndy. Also marked K8-8C, 10 STR N4. Any guess as to the numbered markings, probably wire size. Looks like the correct size for 1/16 - 3/32 cable.
