hey,
i just had a good idea. so, i'll float it out there to see what you people think of it. in place of cedar stripping for the hull components, would it be possible to use carbon fiber tent posts? if not carbon, then maybe aluminum tent posts? i can get the aluminum posts from a surplus store here locally. i can order the carbon ones.
i was thinking i could use the stations inside the craft to center and hold the rods. much like the frame of a folding yak from feather craft etc. bad i dea? or good idea in need of polishing?
finally, i'd like to thank those who have posted respones, and apologise for the crappy spelling and diction of the first post. i was on lunch break with about ten minutes to go. btw, what's the joke w/ rehd cleaning the house? i know he bakes, builds boats and super-sized bongs...er steamers, and could build kitchen cabinets that my wife would die for, and now he cleans? i'm glad he's married, or my wife may want to go to cali. to see the 8th wonder of the world.....rehd, do you have to beat the woman folk off with a stick?
