Most of us don't have to built boats; we do it because we enjoy it. Part of that enjoyment comes from learning to use different tools and to use them well. I'm hard-pressed to come up with a tool that doesn't require some learning to make best use of it. Part of that learning process may be to learn when another tool is a better choice. I'd wager that most of the people on this BBS are the type that learn by doing, by trying one thing, and if that doesn't work, trying something else.

The English language is a tool too. Proper use of this tool does not include "lynch pin." It's "linch pin."
