: One question, I think I know now that I have time to think about it! When I
: got up to a pretty fast clip, the yak would tend to turn on way slightly
: and would not come back even with leaning into the turn. Is this because I
: had my weight too far forward? I have velcro on my seat and can move it
: back probably 3 inches.

Congratulations on the launch. I can't wait to see pics.

If you were leaning into the turn, the kayak would want to go the other way. You're supposed to tip the kayak to the outside of the turn. In other words, lift your right knee if you want to go right, etc... Remember to pivot at your waist and keep your body upright so your cg stays over the kayak.

Have fun with your new kayak
