Deal with cat hair the same way you need to deal with dust in any shop. If you're worried about it getting into you resin or varnish;

Mist the air in your shop with a plant mister an hour beforehand to pull dust out of the air,

Sprinkle water on the floor to keep dust from rising.

To add new resin to old, wipe the surface with a damp sponge or cloth.

For varnishing, go over the surface LIGHTLY with a tack cloth.

Do not sweep the floor or use a table saw six hours beforehand unless you want a skid proof surface.
