It’s unfortunate that people believe this kind of simplistic polarizing rhetoric.

But it produces the effect for which it was intended.

Obviously people are too self absorbed to probe deeper , even when their own best interest is at stake.

The NRA was very effective with the message Chartin Heston used to terrify the legitimate hunters out there, so now we have Bush-light in office.

If the Serria Club has to use the same kind of simplistic method to get people to set down their mail order catalogs for a moment and use their brains for something other than shopping, then I’m all for it.
You have to have some kind of gimmick to get on the “news”.

The alternative is to just let folks watch their WWF matches on TV until the whole eco-system collapses.

Then we’ll be motivated by staggering death tolls.
