Hi folks, back to kayak talk. Does anybody have any pictures of the keel strips fitting detail. I have about 3/4 of an inch of stem form left. Shuld I fill this in with strips then fit the two keel strips or should this be where the land. the book seems to say the keel would be completely covered, if this is the case I would assume I would need to plane off the coves, as I am stripping cove side up from the sheer.
How far over the top of the stem form can you strip?
Sorry for seeming like an Idiot but this is different stripping technique than David hazens. If you have seen the pics of the micmac you will see I started string at the keel and worked to the sheer. Thanks guys Elliott
PS I have looked at Nicks building photos and havent seen thid detailed.
