You definitely have the building bug, when you start thinking about the next boat before even varnishing the current one, ha. I have a cypress bottom in the canoe on top in my picture behind me. The cypress is sorta tough to plane and sand and grabs the titebond like it is starving for wetness. It is slightly heavier than the red cedar also, I could tell the difference in individual strips.

I just ran out of my system 3 epoxy and opened my first ever batch of Raka 127 with 350 hardner, boy is that stuff great! It went on my paddle like varnish.
