: What design is a walrus?

Check the George Putz book on cans covered boats. Inside he has plans for two skin on frame kayaks. The name he uses for the design of those boats is "Walrus". Apparently these are adaptations of boat designs used in a anticle by a guy neame Skeene. The article was titled, 'Building the Walrus'.

While this design is meant to be used for constructing a frame that cAn be covered with fabric, it has been used as a base for a plywood skinned version, and there are rumblings that a stripper may be someone's future project.

hope this helps
