In Response To: Any plans for a sit-on-top kayak? (TF)

:
I have not found any such plans but I sure like to build one if the plans are available. I can imagin a 15 or 16 foot long hard chine hull with a wash deck top with seat and foot rests built in to the deck like on the plastic models I have seen. Problem is I can not design such a boat. Do not have the skills.

I think it would be a very popular stitch & Glue boat.
Any of the designers on the board interested in the project?
How many buyers would there be?

Mike

At the risk of offending the traditionalists, does anyone have plans or kits
: for strip built sit-on-top kayaks?

: I like to fish and I am looking for a fishing machine I can build. Any
: suggestions for a stable fishing platform are welcome too, kayak of
: course.

: Thanks all.
