...what I meant to convey was that Jay Babina is a strong proponent of Greenland paddling techniques and designed the boat to be used in that manner. I guess I should have been more clear on that point. I agree that the OI is not a true Greenland design, but in the purest sense, nothing other than a skin-on-frame kayak can be.

Ever wonder what the Greenlanders might have built if they'd had more wood, table saws, RO sanders, etc.? ;)
