I'm in the process of lofting the Guillemot single from the book and some what concerned about its size vs mine. I'm 6ft 200lb size 11 flippers, will this pose any problems? On the plus side, it looks like it should be a nice snug boat great to learn rolling & edging in and still be good for weekent trips!

Second point, could one cut some strips with a double bead or double cove(depending which way you're stripping) to make the keel and deck peak joints?

Finally, do you use acorn nuts for the hardware (to protect your drybags) or does anybody have a good idea for recessed deck fittings????

Thanks
