Has anybody used hide glue? It's quite a bit more expensive from the looks of it, but may be more suitable for my work space which is a somewhat unheated barn. (we can get it up to about 40 or 45 degrees I think).
Hide glue is primarily used for furniture, and dries clear from what I can tell. And is melted, but has a longer working time than the melted glue sticks. Titebond also makes a liquid version in which they add salt to keep it from becoming solid.

Anybody have any insight on this?

Thanks,
Mark
