I must agree. I got the big Jet dust collector and wouldn't be without it now. My shop (until we recently moved) was in the basement and unavoidably close to the furnace, which acted as a remarkably efficient dust distribution system for the entire house! My shop is now in the garage but the collector is still very valuable. It is great on the table saw, jointer and planer. Cleanup is easier and it keeps a lot of crud out of your way while you are cutting or whatever. It is a bit of a steep initial outlay and I had to put in a 220v outlet for it, but it has made my shop and marital life much better. But be warned, it you use the big hose so vacume up your floor, just make sure the cat's out!

Just remember the old saying: Cleanliness is next to impossible.
