Interesting to hear that you are planning on glassing hull before stripping deck. I had not even concidered that. I have just finished stripping the hull. Staples still in, not faired, external stems not installed. I was planning in starting to strip the deck tonight.

My plan was to (in order)
- strip hull & deck
- remove staples - (leaving some at the sheer)
- initial cleanup of glue and stem ends
- install external stems
- fair, fair, fair
- fill cockpit recess
- glass deck & hull, in and out
- join halves
- coming (construction and glassing)
- hatches and outfitting

Am I off base here?
When should I install flush deck fittings?

What are the benifits of glassing the hull before stripping the deck? wouldn't that make fairing board work, in the sheer line area, difficult?
