In Response To: Micro balloons?? anyone use 'em? (dave)

You can round off the edge of the sheer clamp that will face the inside. I use a router to take off a fair amount of
material. This will cut a little weight and give a better finish. I use micro balloons for end pours and fairing, but after
reading an archived message, I have a thought/question about micro balloons. Has any one tried mixing in a small
amount to the epoxy fill coats on S&G hulls to be painted? Might this help for a more even fill in less coats, be lighter
and/or easier to fair? Or would this cause more runs due to the thicker consistency and other problems. Any input
appreciated.
