Dave, The epoxy will take longer to cure, theoretically the epoxy is weaker if cured at a cold temperature but not enough for our applications. I like Ray's simple idea of a light bulb inside the cockpit under the area to be glued. For under deck attachments I've used 1"webbing folded over and glued straight onto the underside of the deck. It's not as neat as a padeye but it's not exactly in a visible spot and a loop of webbing is easy to pass multible lengths of smaller bungie or bungie fittings.
