: to say that I didn't understand that you guys used your storage areas as
: floatation. I earlier mentioned that I might put foam floatation along the
: underdeck along each side of the kayak. The reason for this is it might
: make it possible to get back into a swamped kayak with out rolling it
: over. Again thanks for all of your responses. I have more questions that I

John, ask away anytime, playing in the water is the best way to theorize, if you're thinking of solo rescues then go ahead and learn all the climbing into the kayak type of rescues but go ahead and take some rolling lessons, it only takes a little longer to learn how to roll as it does to become proficient in any of the climbing back in type of rescues.
