Bill,

I've taken some pictures recently, but I just took the film out of the camera last night. Maybe I can set up a web page soon, and get some pics up on it, but I have to develop the film first.

I know you saw it at R2K, but I am including a pic from then, for others who may not have seen it yet. The kayak on the left is the oricinal Putz Walrus, pretty close to the specs in the book. The frame on the right is the latest version. It is 2" narrower, about 9" longer, 6" higher bow, 4" higher stern, flat decks (excluding around the cockpit), 4" lower behind the cockpit, better cockpit shape (keyhole), more deadrise, and more flare. Aside from those changes and the different skin and sealer, it is the same kayak. Oh, I forgot I changed the dimensions of the frame members. It may come in under 30 pounds, we'll see. I think you know all that Bill, but others may not.

I'm hoping to finish before the next South Sound Wooden Sea Kayaking outing.

P.S. I didn't work on it too much today, I put up half a fence instead.

Mike
