Mick,

I have to admit, I did think you were a jerk at first, but I got over it. I've enjoyed reading your posts over time, you've got some interesting ideas. I wish I had re-read that one post earlier though, it would have untainted my view of you.

If I look you up sometime when I'm up your way, we'll have to buy each other a couple of beers. I think I could keep my mouth shut about the surfyak, I'd try not to get out my spycam.

The skin you mentioned would be a good incetive to learn how to roll. :O I keep thinking about a paper skin. Maybe doing a paper mache with Dap Weldwood Plastic Resin Glue. Could be an all new cheap kayak.

Mike

: Hi Mike,

: I just looked at it too. It does sorta sound as if I was ratting you and your
: question. Wow, you have been thinking that I was the biggest jerk around!
: Real sorry for not being more clear. And on that membrane subject, I
: understand that feathercraft has switched from hypalon to actually using a
: pvc roofing polyester fibre reinforced product. The one I was conjecturing
: about is self adhering, but probably would be a problem because the skin
: would be directly attached to the frame and couldn't move(not so
: flexible). And the not so big problem of "Help, I can't get out, I'm
: stuck!!!"(hehehe) glub, glub.

: I do live in the Vancouver area, and would be pleased to make your
: aquaintance on whatever level, whenever. But unfortunately, surfyak is a
: restricted project and would require oaths of secrecy in order to be seen
: before the unveiling.
