Actually I just looked back at the post in the Old Message Archive, I think I misread it the first time, must have had a bad day way back then. You referred to the dumbest question yet, and I think you were talking about you own question, not my question. My bad! I should have re-read it before my comments.

After using the kayak for a while, it appears to be a pretty good coating, but is not as tough as the toxic elastomeric coatings. The big problem is it takes about a month to get to full strength, although it is "dry" in 12 hours.

Do you live in the Vancouver B.C. area, I go up there occasionally and I'd love to see the surfyak sometime. I could bring my kayaks up and do some paddling in your area. I think Bram and Ian live up around there too.
