Just a few questions. I'm considering putting a rudder system on my double sea kayak. The transom is raked from the keel to the deck at about 15 deg. Does the fact that the rudder would end up entering the water a few inches or so behind the transom at the waterline present any sort of problem, dynamics perhaps? Also does anyone have any neat solutions for this problem. Next question, currently I've a fixed skeg, if I put a rudder on do I need to lose the skeg? Any info or resources on rudder and pedal mechanisms would be great. Cheers!
