I tried a different brush last night. I went to get some more foam brushes and Knox was out (same old story). So I pickup a cheap brush ($2.5) and it worked great, 100 polyester bristle, I did not loose any bristles and seamed to apply the varnish pretty evenly, I guess the true test will be when I get home tonight and take another look. It also cleaned up quite nicely.

: The foam brushes with the wooden handles seem to work the best. Once you
: switch to Raka you'll find they'll shed less. I think its the heat when
: the epoxy kicks that makes them shed. The foam specks start to show just
: before the epoxy tacks and the brush starts to drag. I like to fill coat
: in small batches to stay ahead of the kick to avoid the brush shedding.
: Wetting out I use only a plastic squeege (too cheap to try one of those
: bubble rollers).

: Keep 8-) Dave

I don't recommend Glen-L either.
