If you switch to Raka now on your "8"ball you will see a definate change in color between the Glen-L Epoxy-Shield and the Raka. Its not too bad on the bottom of my Yare were I taped with Glen-L and glassed over it with Raka.

I use the yellow foam rollers to spread the epoxy and then tip out with 2" foam brushes. They start to shed specks when the epoxy starts to tack. When it gets too bad toss the brush and grab another. The specks seem to sand or srape off ok, but they are a pain. Best to avoid them. Some posters say they tip off after the roller with a plastic squeege. I haven't tried that yet. The foam brushes are cheapest in Long Beach, CA at Home Depot.

I use glue syringes from WoodCraft to measure the epoxy for small batches. For Glen-L I measured 1 tablespoon of water into one syringe and marked the syringe by scratching it with a knife then using the syringe I measured water 5 times into a glass and sucked all of the water into a second syringe and marked it with a scratch. Take both syringes apart to completely dry before using on to measure the epoxy. For Raka I set up syringes for 2 Tbsp and 4 Tbsp.

I developed a good swearing vocabulary keeping up with, squeeging off and sanding off Epoxy-Shield while applying it well under 90 F. You should see it string off a roller when it goes off. Actually I hope you don't. It took me 8 to 10 batches to glass the inside of my canoe.

When you switch to Raka you'll be chasing runs. Don't forget to mask to minimize the runs. Get up early to epoxy.

: below 90*. I've tried everything I could imagine, and about all the
: suggestions given me by you folks and I've use up over 1qt. epoxy and
