: I've just finished my first boat, a S&G. I want to get my feet wet in strip
: building but I decided I want some practice before I commit to a full
: strip project. I am interested in building a guillemont S&G hull with a
: strip deck. The plans have forms every 20 inches. On the forms I would cut
: out the sheer corners for sheer clamps, and round over the deck/deck edge
: corner for easier stripping. Is this possible or am I crazy to try? Thanks
: Ryan

I just sanded the stripped deck on a Pygmy Golden Eye S&G hull from their plans. I improvised on the deck forms to provide the stripping base. Worked out really good. The deck adds some character that isn't available with plywood and the hull from plywwood made the process much faster (also lighter as I used 3mm plywood from Home Base).
