plywood hull/strip deck

I've just finished my first boat, a S&G. I want to get my feet wet in strip building but I decided I want some practice before I commit to a full strip project. I am interested in building a guillemont S&G hull with a strip deck. The plans have forms every 20 inches. On the forms I would cut out the sheer corners for sheer clamps, and round over the deck/deck edge corner for easier stripping. Is this possible or am I crazy to try? Thanks Ryan
