Where can I find information that explains to me in a concise manner (including advantages & disadvantages) of the different types of building wooden kayaks (strip, etc)? Also, where can I find a list of classes that teach kayak building?

As you can tell I'm new to kayaks, but I am interested in building my own kayak. There are plenty of places in Wisconsin to paddle.
