No, CA is "instant glue." I have experimented with the really thin stuff that wicks into a clamped joint with pretty good success. I'm not sure how it would work for an entire boat, but I did put several strips onto my deck using it in a trial. I also used it to attach the plywood coaming to my deck - The principal advantage is speed, that stuff sets up fast!

I was hoping to encourage someone else to develop a technique & then share it with the rest of us . . . 8-0
