: Has anyone else experienced cratering (also called fisheyeing), while applying the second or third coat of
: epoxy? It seems to happen only when applying epoxy over a cured/sanded epoxy coating, and I have only experienced it
: while using RAKA brand epoxy. Is it possibly a problem only with thinner epoxies?

You may have a little bit of amine blush. Blush is
waxy and the thin epoxy may not want to stick to a
spot where a little blush remains. Try scrubbing the
boat with a wet green scrubing pad. These pads are
available at most supermarkets. The amine blush is
water soluable so you can use just a wet towel, but
the scrubbing will help.
