Transporting kayaks: upright or inverted?

O.K., now that I'm getting ready to cartop my shiney new boat to some serious water, the question becomes: Which orientation is best? I suspect keel down, since the natural motion of the hull against the air pressure created while the vehicle is moving will want to push the bow up, and that this can be counteracted by the bow tie-down. I'm certain there will be some flex no matter what at 65mph, but am I correct that keel down is the way to go? Thanks. Chuck
