: ~4 weeks ago, just after completion, I put my kayak on display in the atrium
: at work (Johnson Controls automotive interiors -- we do door panels,
: headliners, seats, etc.) A guy who builds nice cedar strip kayaks and
: models often puts his stuff on the pad here where normally cars are put on
: display. It got lots of oohs and aahs, especially from the designers from
: the studios. Regardless of whether they knew anything about kayaking, they
: love the lines of the boat. One idjit, though, would have knocked it off
: the stands, had a friend of mine not been there to catch it. The guy's
: comment, after reading the specs sheet that was in the cockpit, was
: "400 hours, huh? Good thing I didn't knock it on the floor..."

Oh no, not those stands. ??? Looks good.........show off. Should have made some really nifty curved ash stands. :)

Better be careful or you'll be getting a bunch of orders. You know how us Yuppies are. Gotta have one!!!
