The manual for the Chessie 14 says that you "cut a piece of FG cloth to the shape of the bottom panels and lay it over the bottom of the cockpit area (between the bulkheads)."

Two questions:

1: does this cloth only cover the bottom, or does it rise anywhere up the sides for reinforcement?

2: are the areas past the bulkheads epoxy only? I can't find any reference to glassing them, but I want to make sue I haven't missed anything!
