Low volume except for the area you sit in. Some of your current whitewater designs are very spacious in the cockpit, then shrink to almost surfboard like dimmensions once the padlers feet are cleared.

I'm thinking of Maligiaq Padilia (I'm sure that is a butchered version of his name, sorry. I mean the Greenland skills champion). His boat looked to be about 8 inches tall and only protruded above the waterline three inches or so except at the ends. Very low windage, low drag, easy rolls. It's well suited to his compact gymnasts body, but not to 200 lb. weekend warriors.

Big, expedition style boats seem to dominate the waterways, which is ironic since the great majority of their users rarely if ever pack anything larger than a lunch

The Mersanger is probably the prettiest stitch-and-glue boat out there. I'm defenitely interested although I'd also like to build a stripper.

: hi Berkeley, how do you have a spacious cockpit with low deck, low volume
: greenland design?
