My bottom-of-the-line GPS unit, the Magellan Blazer 12 only goes to 1/100 of a minute as well. On a network news feature the other night, though, they were showing a unit that clearly went to 3 places instead of 2. Maybe if we spend more, we get more? What can I expect for $100 +,-.

Don't forget: At least with Magellan, "waterproof" doesn't mean what you and I expect it to mean.
