In Response To: can it be done? (David Blodgett)

: I'm planning on using polyester resin for an all fibreglass boat. will I be
: able to use it in a ventilated basement? or is it too toxic. when we use
: it we will wear masks... but will the smell spread through out the house?
: this is an old house so the basement isn't sealled at all... I my self would try and find a garage to do it in. The smell will spread thru out the house. Do's not smell the greatest. The smell will get in the food, and your cloths in the closets. I built fiberglass boats for a living for 12 years smelled of resin all the time. hope this do's not scare you off building that boat.
