: A couple of panels of my Pygmy have developed a pronounced wave. OK, they're
: warped. Will this work itself out when I stitch them together or should I
: try to straighten them out before stitching? Any suggestions on how to
: straighten out the plywood would be appreciated.

We had the same thing with our Osprey. We drove from Los Angeles up to Port Townsend to pick out our boats (an Osprey, almost done, and a Coho, starting next week) and we got rained on all the way home (20 hours + 8 hours visiting in San Francisco). The Osprey was strapped on the roof and wrapped in a tarp. It got a little wet at the ends.

End result: some discoloration (water marking) which became very difficult to see after glassing, and varying degrees or warping in 50% or the panels which went away when stitched.

I don't think that you have anything to worry about...

Later,

Tim.
