: I've been using a craftsman, but i've seen mention of other planes. Whaich
: are better? Thanks again. -tim I use a 4 inch sanding disk on a small angle grinder. I sit in a comfortable chair on the front porch and holding the shaft between my knees, I start with 60 grit, move through 80 to 120 and finish hand sanding with 150. You need to use a light touch and keep the sander moving. I like the blade to be about 4mm thick, concave in both length and width with a central rib. I glass both sides with 4oz cloth. - simon
