Were you one of the 2 guys here talking about this method?? Obviously works great. Nice yak too.

Why did you decide to build the alignment(table, forms attached to table) on the outside? Do you think the same result could have been achieved by an internal strongback and 3in wide forms on the outside. Say even scissor action for esp hard threaded strips. That way no big cumbersome table and you can roll the yak around. I think some here use web clamps at the form locations and just drive wedges at ea strip, but I'm not sure what holds the web in place.(Maybe wraps of duct tape).

How did you hold the shorter pcs in place? The ones that end betw forms?

Anyway, all in all tres cool.
