I found doing both at the same time, pretty easy. Here is my process...

1. Run a strip of packing tape between the two panels. 2. Clamp side panels to work bench (saw horses with 3/4" plywood work surface) 3. Measure and mark the side panel where the edge of the sheerclamp should go to. I found this is what truly made it easy. I marked it every 12 inches, as well as where the ends line up. 4. Coat both shear clamps with thickened epoxy 5. Have a helper hold the two ends above and below the panels, while you set the other ends, aligned to the marks, clamp, align, set, clamp, align set clamp...

I did clamps every one to two feet, then went back and filled in till I had clamps every 6 in. I was expecting this to be difficult, but was pleasantly surprised.
