Not quite following ya, how much room should i leave for the gasket 1/4", 1/2" Won't weather stripping compress pretty tight? saran wrap the hatch cover with foam attached to it then fill the crack between deck and hatch with wax? glass from the inside over hatch foam and saran wrap? take the clay and roll it in my hands and make something nice to better control my frustration w/ hatch-making?
