Hi Greg, Spidey:

Unfortunately, there have been several extended occasions during which I had minimal time for actually doing anything - family does come 1st. So my kayak has not progressed. Thankfully after next week I'll be able to restart.

Last week I actually put in 2 strips 1/2in x 1/16in - wow real progress - duh

All the basic stripping is done except for a 12in by 12in area near the back, but there are a few more mountains to climb - skegs, seat, sacrificial ends. I'm starting to get uneasy about whether it will all fair out.

I think you can get an idea that the basic design will be kinda different, but the strip design . . . . . if it works . . . . you might get a charge.
