Kent -- I've been using Homepage.com for the past 3 months. At first I had some problems with their system, but now everything is running smooth. They place a small (1-1/2" or so) add at the top of each page, but it's not too bad. Their HTML editor is fine and I haven't had an problems uploading files.

I've used both GeoCities and Tripod in the past, plus have some space with my ISP (but uploading is too much trouble). I would still use GeoCities, but not Tripod. All in all, I like Homepage better.
