Nils -- Greetings from Indianapolis. I'm in the final stages of my Merganser, which is built from 5.2mm (2/10 in) lauan. While 5.2mm is closer to 1/4" than 1/8", I didn't have any problems, but not sure on how tight you want to bend. I found the lauan at both Lowes and Menards. I don't know if you have either in your area, but they both are in the midwest. For epoxy, try ordering from Raka. Several guys on this bulletin board at using it. Less expensive than WestSystem or MAS. Larry at Raka is a big help (and he's posting here now). Good luck and keep us posted. -- Greg
