Ken is right. I used just wood flour on the fillets of my Ches. 17. The boat is finished and I have about a teaspoon of cab-o-sil left. Would have run out if I had added any to the fillets. I think it will make the fillets a little smoother but you would have to buy more cab-o-sil. Also don't overdue the fillets. Mine are a little thick and it adds to the weight of the boat. Came in right at 50lbs fully rigged.
