I would think the model airplane builders superglue (the type you can get in varying thicknesses) would be easier to use and faster than elmers.

cyanoacrylate is what its called i think. and its about 5 or 10 bucks for a bottle sufficient to do a few yak models.

I may try this model thing with Grants posed design.
