My local Home Depot (FL) has had a display with many, many, 2" chromed steel clamps with black plastic protectors up at $1 each. They seem well made (Taiwan, the quality people near mainland China - :-) For the first 20 I bought the checkout person charged me $8 - - I thought there might be another discount on top of the $1 sale price, but I now think she didn't feel like counting all the clamps that I had clamped together to make a single carryable unit - -
