Hi Tim,

Thats a tough call without being able to see it. It sounds like you should be able to determine how much it's sticking up from fair by looking at the inside. How much has it lifted off the form? You could also run a straight edge across the area to check the rise. I assume you have gone to far to just remove the strips, so if it's really bad you could always cut along the joint with a razor saw and try pushing it up against the form to flatten it out. As you push it flat it should close up the gap so it doesn't show. If that doesn't work, you can always cut the strips out completely and slip a couple of new ones in. Don't get discouraged, the strip method is very forgiving!
