probably because that was not the problem,,,folks were addressing the problem as stated when I had a bike shop folks would drag me from one end of a bicycle to the other for some mysterious squeak, you could say that $500dollar bike was an assemblage of poor quality parts, or that when a vehicle is made to be light it's important that it's assembled carefully. My first s&g has it's deck glued with epoxy and organic whole wheat flour,it hasn't risen yet!
